Account Manager

We’re seeking an experienced and results-focussed Account Manager to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will have worked in marketing/advertising for 5 or more years, and have strong B2B experience.
You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships, driving key account growth, and ensuring client satisfaction at every stage of the process.
As an Account Manager working in our Client Services team, you’ll be involved at every stage. From new business and pitching/presenting work, to creative briefing and campaign management.
You will
- Be the lead on key client accounts, managing the strategy and deliverables.
- Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Understand your clients’ business, strategic objectives and produce proposals and recommendations aligned with these.
- Produce strategically led marketing plans.
- Take the lead on internal team meetings, planning sessions and campaign performance reviews.
- Maximise the value clients receive from their existing marketing investment and identifying & presenting new revenue-driving opportunities.
- Collaborate to ensure that work, cost estimates and production remain within the timing plans and budgets, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Prepare and present regular performance summaries to each client account.
- Work with colleagues in our Creative and Web Development teams to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Ensure activity is delivered on time and on budget.
- Play a proactive role in agency growth.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are adhered to.
- Report directly to the Head of Client Services.
You’ll need
- A solid track record of delivering integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
- Ability to juggle competing demands and accept pressure in a composed and calm manner.
- Experience working on new business, pitching work and presenting to clients.
- Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to earn respect quickly from clients, becoming an invaluable ally.
- A client first mindset and approach.
- A love of our industry.

- Experience delivering client workshops and discovery sessions
- Knowledge of digital marketing good-practice
- Website project management skills
- Experience of working on brand development projects

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per year
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
